The background

ROLA Roof Racks has been integral to the Australian sporting and leisure landscape for over four decades – a brand that has evolved into one of Australia’s largest roof rack and cargo management companies.

Despite its strong market presence, ROLA has taken its traditional sales approach online with Shopify.

 

The challenge

The strategy was to develop a customer-centric shopping platform catering to ROLA’s loyal and engaged customer base.

Key issues included:

  • Manual and offline sales channels: the current sales model primarily depended on traditional retail and wholesale distribution, restricting direct customer interaction.
  • Support for stockist and installer Network: seamless transactions within the stockist and installer network to uphold strong business relationships.
